Taylor Swift: Red

Hi Music Freaks! It has been long time since the last post right? How are you guys? Seems like this blog is still alive as before. This post, I will assess one of the newest album (and also popular) so you might want to see it before you actually buy the music from the iTunes.

This is the screenshot of the album at iTunes store.

As you can see the album cost about $14.99 at iTunes store with 16 tracks. This album also packed with a digital album booklet which includes all thank yous from taylor swift to the producers or the others like the usual booklet.

Now let's review it.
Value: 7/10
Song Quality: 8/10
Consistency: 9/10
Overall: 8/10

Value: With $14.99 price tag, the album seems a little bit overpriced. That is about $ 0.93 per song. Moreover, the individual song shown in the picture above have $1.29 per track in average. Compare it to the song quality seems that the song is still a bit overpriced.

Song Quality: With her usual modern country style song and story-telling style lyrics, seems that Taylor Swift always tries her best to keep her song quality become one of the must-buy song album. Some songs are worth listening repeatedly. Compare to her competitor like Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift put some modern music style like electric guitar instrument and electric music style to her songs so that listeners will not be bored with her songs. That is why, her album deserve eight over ten score.

Consistency: Taylor Swift is one of the artist who is consistent in maintaining the quality of her music. Her style never get distorted even though she adds some new element in her music. This is important for a musician so that they have originality in their song.

Overall, I recommend you all to buy this album because this album worth listening. Her vocal quality still good and some of them are memorable. Even though the price is a little bit high, you may want to have it to your library collection for your iPad or other portable music player.
